Age Verification: Implementing a seamless and user-friendly age verification process without compromising the overall user experience.
Product Navigation: Designing intuitive navigation to help users easily browse through a vast inventory of wines with diverse categories and attributes.
Filtering and Sorting: Creating efficient filtering and sorting options to help users quickly find wines based on preferences such as type, region, price, and ratings.
Checkout Process: Streamlining the checkout process to minimize friction and enhance conversion rates, including managing shipping addresses, payment methods, and order confirmation.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regional regulations and laws related to online alcohol sales, including age verification, licensing, and shipping restrictions.
The Solution
Age Verification: Implemented a straightforward age verification pop-up upon entry, utilizing a simple age input or a date picker for users to confirm their age & their ID identification through camera based input tracking module to track age upon scanning.
Product Navigation: Designed a clear and intuitive menu structure with dropdowns or filters for wine categories, regions, varietals, and price ranges based on zipcode, based on which wines in the areas nearest to them were displayed
Checkout Process: Streamlined the checkout flow into a single-page process with progress indicators. Offer guest checkout and integrate popular payment gateways for convenience and security.
